(BRYAN, Texas) – Parc at Traditions – the new full-service senior living community currently under construction in the heart of the Traditions Club master-planned community – announces partnerships with the neighboring Texas A&M University Health Science Center and CHI St. Joseph Health MatureWell Lifestyle Center.
As leaders in their respective fields of senior lifestyle, education and healthcare delivery, Parc at Traditions, the Texas A&M Health Science Center and MatureWell Lifestyle Center have established partnerships designed to enhance the wellness and quality of life of seniors. The three organizations are uniquely positioned to collaborate in areas that directly impact the lives of senior populations, including lifestyle and wellness programming, education, research and care delivery. These relationships will also provide interactive opportunities for Parc residents to engage with students and faculty of the Texas A&M Health Science Center, and with the care staff at MatureWell Lifestyle Center.
“Parc at Traditions’ collaboration with the Texas A&M Health Science Center and the MatureWell Lifestyle Center are notable in that they allow us each to play to our respective organizational strengths in the areas of service, education, research and healthcare delivery, while leveraging our relationships to advance the quality of life for area seniors and their families,” says Andy Slavin, Parc Communities Executive Vice President. “This will beneficially impact the lives of our residents, and seniors generally, by fostering progress in understanding how to better serve and care for these most important members of our families and communities.”
Scheduled to open in Spring 2017, Parc at Traditions features 159 graciously-appointed senior living apartment homes, including 91 independent living, 44 assisted living and 24 memory care units. The senior living enclave is situated on a beautiful 14-acre wooded site in the heart of the Traditions Club community, and is thoughtfully designed to complement Parc Communities’ distinctive brand of hospitality-enriched senior living.
Parc at Traditions is a full-service rental community, where residents will enjoy all of the benefits of Parc’s exceptional service and care for one convenient monthly fee. In addition, Parc Communities does not require large upfront entry fees or deposits. Parc at Traditions’ signature lifestyle includes 24-hour concierge service, table-side fine dining, state-of-the-art wellness and activities programs, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and a professional staff trained to deliver extraordinary service and care.
Ideally positioned to serve the families of Bryan, College Station and the greater Brazos Valley market, Parc at Traditions is conveniently located next door to the Texas A&M Health Science Center, across the street from the Traditions Golf Club, around the corner from the MatureWell Lifestyle Center in the new Lake Walk Town Center, and minutes from Easterwood Airport and Texas A&M’s main campus.
“The combined missions of Texas A&M and Parc Communities create a collaboration to enrich the health, wellness and lifestyle of Parc residents,” notes Paul Ogden, MD, Interim Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Texas A&M Health Science Center and interim dean of the College of Medicine. “With a direct impact through specialized healthcare education and training, and a global impact through research advancements, this collaboration will advance the wellness goals of mature adults in our local community.”
“As our neighbor in the new Lake Walk Town Center, we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with highly-regarded Parc Communities in service to area seniors,” adds Donovan French, Vice President Strategy & Business Development, CHI St. Joseph Health. “The MatureWell Lifestyle Center is our latest innovation in partnership with Texas A&M Physicians – delivering an array of outpatient services in one, convenient, easy to access location for adults 55 and older.
